Hi, I'm Jessica, owner of Taproots Schoolhouse. I grew up camping and hiking, fostering a deep love for nature that I’m eager to share with children. After becoming a mother, I knew I wanted to create a space where kids could explore, slow down, and experience the world through their senses—free from screens and distractions.

With a degree in Natural Resource Ecology from Oklahoma State University and experience working with the Tulsa Zoo and Bureau of Land Management, I’ve always been passionate about blending nature and education. While I don't have a formal degree in early childhood education, I strive to offer the same level of care and expertise I would want for my own children.

At Taproots, I believe outdoor learning offers unique, valuable experiences that traditional schools simply can’t. I’d love to show you our program—reach out for a tour or any questions. I hope to meet you and your little one soon!
